CaptionPad Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of CaptionPad devices (“Device”) provided by CaptionPad LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using the Device, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview of the Device

CaptionPad is a physical device designed to provide real-time, on-device speech-to-text captions for in-person conversations. The Device processes audio locally and does not transmit data to external servers.

The Device is intended for informal, assistive use in everyday conversations.

2. Important Disclaimers About Accuracy

The Device uses automated speech recognition technology, which is inherently imperfect.
